In memory of Dr. Robert Stemmer, and under the auspices of the
International Union of Phlebology, SIGVARIS has founded the
Robert Stemmer Library, based on the book “Compression Therapy of the Extremities” (Editions Phlébologiques Françaises, 2000) written by Professors Hugo Partsch, Eberhard Rabe and Dr. Robert Stemmer.
The Library gathers the articles mentioned in the book as well as most of the articles published about compression therapy since the publication of the book. Some of those articles are discussed and summarized in the SIGVARIS Compression Bulletins.
Over the years, SIGVARIS has built a
library with over 3 000 medical articles and studies on compression therapy, and is proud to provide this new online tool to serve the medical community.
