Define your Story with WrapAbility

Meet the faces of our campaign—real patients Carla, Marlies, Barbara who embody the strength and resilience that WrapAbility represents. Watch how they turn pressure into power and regain control over their lives with our innovative inelastic wraps.

Inelastic wraps

A wrap consists of an understocking and an overlying, inelastic compression aid, which covers the affected extremity, e. g. with the aid of velcro straps, and creates a graduated compression. Wraps are available from SIGVARIS GROUP as serial product.

Indications

Lymphedema, lipedema, edema of venous origin, mixed forms and the wound management of ulcers.

Effect of compression

Wraps create an inelastic compression and have similar material properties to short-stretch bandages. They are also highly effective in lymphatic or venous edemas, as well as in the treatment of leg ulcers. If the circumferences decrease or increase, one can readjust the wraps with little effort or adjust the appropriate pressure. The wear- ing comfort of inelastic wraps is very high.
