Brief background of the issue(s) you were having?
I had lymphoedema of the left leg which required compression therapy.
How was the issue(s) affecting your everyday life?
I had limited movement and pain when swelling was at its worst, affecting my physical but also mental wellbeing. I was in a lot of pain trying to complete everyday tasks but was also self-conscious of the appearance of my leg that I didn’t want to leave the house.
What made our product or service different from other options you had tried.
I have tried various garments over the span of the 9 years I have had this condition and finally I found a garment that gave me everything…compression, comfort and visually looked good.
What do you like about the product?
It doesn’t make me too hot, it’s quite subtle looking and gives me the compression I need without cutting my circulation off!

It allowed me to get control of my condition physically and mentally.
What have you been able to achieve since using our product or service?
Socialise again with confidence and ensure my condition doesn’t get worse.
Anything else you would like to add?
I cannot thank my MLD therapist Laura enough for her patience and help in finding me a suitable garment when I say it has been a 9 year struggle it really has and she preserved with me to ensure we got there in the end. I think I would have given up if it wasn’t for her as it’s a minefield out there in terms of what garments are suitable but manageable and also what you are entitled to and where you get them from.
