Course description

This course is designed to provide an overview of the basic principles of vascular anatomy as well as the pathophysiology of venous stasis ulcers, lymphedema, and lipedema.  

Course duration

This course is 4 hours of self paced video content with a 1 hour exam. All work for this course can be found here under cohort 231*

Who should attend

Non-healthcare professionals who routinely fit compression and want to service more complex patients. 
These attendees will have ideally attended the Basic Fitters class for Venous Disease and circular knit garments class first.Any professional who want to have a better understanding of how the disease states are interconnected and how to measure, select or recommend and fit the appropriate garment(s) for their patients.

Accreditations

ABC & BOC - 5.0 CE
Students must complete the entire program and passing exam score of 80 or higher to receive certification
