Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Our business activities are based on high ethical standards to meet the expectations of our stakeholders including employees, business partners and customers. We ensure that SIGVARIS UK meets its responsibilities worldwide according to local laws. Those standards guide us to fight against modern slavery. This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and provides an update on the actions we have taken (and are continuing to take) to guard against modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and its supply chain, for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.

1. Modern Slavery Definition

The UK government define the Modern Slavery as forced and compulsory labour in any form. It can take many forms including the trafficking of people, forced labour, servitude, and slavery. Unfortunately, modern slavery still happens today.

SIGVARIS GROUP is 100% family-owned since it was founded in 1864. We are committed to helping people feel their best with high-quality and innovative offerings in medical compression therapy. Our portfolio caters to a wide range of different needs and indications.

3. Our business

At SIGVARIS GROUP, we are a reliable and experienced partner for our customers around the world that include pharmacies, DMEs, orthopaedic and medical specialist stores as well as medical professionals and hospitals. They advise individuals and provide them with products and solutions for medical compression. Our group has currently more than 1600 committed employees worldwide dedicated to the well-being of the users of our products - with solutions that support them in all their activities. Our portfolio is built on brands targeting different needs and indications. On the one hand, we want to support patients with venous disorders, lymphoedema and lipoedema in making their lives as restriction-free as possible. On the other hand, the positive effects of compression therapy in day-to-day life, at work, on long-distance trips and during sports should also be made accessible to a health-conscious public. As we stay committed to developing relevant medical solutions, we keep innovating so that our health care professional partners can continue to play an integral part in enhancing people's lives. Thus, we support the sustainable success of their business.

4. Our organisation and supply chain

With group headquarters in Switzerland, we operate our own production plants in Switzerland, France, Poland, the US, and Brazil. We combine Swiss heritage with local craftsmanship. We have a high level of integration as the majority of production to distribution is performed inhouse and under full control of SIGVARIS GROUP. No instances of modern slavery have been discovered in our supply chain and there is no indication that our suppliers are vulnerable to such risks. We select with care our partners to be in line with our values.

5. Policies

At SIGVARIS UK, we operate several internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. We operate the following policies to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations:

• SIGVARIS GROUP Code of Conduct: The Code of Conduct outlines general principles for ethical behaviour and applies to all employees. Compliance guidelines shall ensure that all activities are aligned with the company values of SIGVARIS GROUP. It commits the company to compliance with laws and defines among others the relationships with competitors and business partners. • Annual Training of UK staff around modern slavery and trafficking • Equality Policy • Anti-bribery policy • Menopause policy • Mental Health Policy • Data protection policy • Health and safety policy • Whistle blowing policy [including confidential reporting] • Grievance Policy

6. Due diligence and risk management

All our employees sign up to the SIGVARIS Code of Conduct requiring compliance with laws and other standards in the countries in which the SIGVARIS GROUP is active. Management will be kept informed about the relevant legal and regulatory framework in their field of activity and will provide their teams with the necessary instruction and advice. All employees are committed to operate in a fair way within their areas of business.

To conclude, we have zero tolerance to Modern Slavery, and we make all possible efforts to avoid the risk of Modern Slavery in our business and supply chains.
